Local sixth grader collects items ahead of the holidays

A local sixth-grader is looking to make a difference this Christmas in a big way.

Sanya Pirani, a student at Hidden Oaks Middle School, is looking for the community’s help to fill 500 school bags for children in need. Pirani, along with the help of others, sewed 500 bags this past summer. Once filled, the bags will go to the local shelter “Sharing and Caring Hands” as Christmas gifts.

Community members are invited to adopt a bag and contact Pirani via her Facebook page “Sanya’s Hope for Children” or by texting her mother, Dilshad, at 952-201-1920 if they’d like to participate.
