Adam Mamdani’s propensity for leadership began in high school, when he served as student council vice president. Given his passion for working with people and his interest in finance and sales, business was a natural fit.
Adam’s Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University gave him a strong background in traditional business skills as well as three terms of work experience in the finance divisions of major companies. However, the missing piece in his business education was entrepreneurship.
The Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) provided Adam with the opportunity to pursue a degree with a masters of business component, while also building entrepreneurship skills he would not get in an MBA program.
Following his MBET, Adam started his own business as an independent financial planner contracted through Sun Life Financial. His success caught the eye of the Sun Life Head Office, who invited him to take on a managerial role, working as an employee of Sun Life.
