In 1999 I moved to the United Arab Emirates and worked for The Ismaili Council as program officer for the Syrian Ismailis (Muslim Shia sect ). During that time I received various trainings that helped me to develop my skills on personal and professional level. In 2004 I got a certificate of Islamic studies for one year from Islamic Ismaili Studies Institution in London.

Which aims to generate and implement integration strategies for refugees, through empowering them as teachers and multipliers, leading them to teach self-chosen topics in their camps as well as outside the camps.

The Board of Participation (BOP) is an Association for cultural participation founded in 2014, with special emphasis on cultural education for refugees. With the goal of providing a platform for cultural participation, The BOP will name an ambassador that should act as a bridge between the refugees and the German society.
