We returned last evening from our most spiritually enlightened and exciting educational trip that I’ve ever taken. It was so heart warming to see the work of AKDN in Khorog. When we arrived in the village, we were welcomed by all, who lined up on the street with live music and dancing. As we got out of our cars, each one hugged us and we all started to cry! We were offered bread with honey. Just imagine spring water flowing and tables laid with fresh fruits etc. The most wonderful trip ever! We were treated like royalties.
