Khosh Gulab: 57-year-old man passes Secondary School Certificate exam with distinctionCHITRAL: A 57-year-old man belonging to the remote Madak Lasht valley has passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examination 2016 as a private candidate with a distinction.

Khosh Gulab works as a watchman at the Govt primary School Madak Lasht.

Talking to this correspondent, Gulab said due to the death of his farther and financial constraints, he could not continue education after eighth class and started working as a watchman in the school. But he said his thrust for acquiring education did not fade away. He said he obtained 680 marks out of a total 1,000 in the SSC exam.

Gulab now wants to prepare for the intermediate and BA exams and to pursue a law degree, adding after retirement he wants to become a lawyer and serve his area people.
