The family foundation aims to bring forth the best from non-profits and driven individuals, worldwide. Amir Lakhani, PhD
A physicist by training and profession, Dr. Amir Lakhani never expected to be caught up in the whirlwind of non-profit work and management. Dr. Lakhani is an ardent proponent of Social Enterprises with a strategy of co-investment. He is on the advisory board of TCO Cambodia and SET Tanzania, while managing the bulk of projects through SLF. Dr. Lakhani enjoys reading his Kindle, and keeping up with the latest outlandish theories in Physics.
Dr. Dilshad Sumar
A pediatric dentist by training and profession, Dr. Dilshad Sumar always knew she’d return to her origins to practice dentistry. Dr. Sumar has been invited as a guest lecturer to several hospitals worldwide, and consults their pediatric dental departments. Dr. Sumar enjoys a super sweet cup of tea while watching Rachel Maddow. She also enjoys playing tennis with surprisingly great skill (despite her height).
