March 04, 2016: Every once in a while, the issue of absence of diversity emerges as a topic for public discussion.
The latest debate on lack of diversity was ignited at Calgary city hall when city manager Jeff Fielding presented a report on hiring practices and organizational setup.
It was disclosed that the city has all-male general managers and the number of women directors continues to be outnumbered 17 to seven.
