President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday commissioned the construction of the Aga Khan University Hospital.
By John Agaba for New Vision – Dec 17, 2015: President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday commissioned the construction of the Aga Khan University Hospital, expected to offer “specialised treatment for complicated illnesses” as well as training for doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.
The function at the Nakawa a city suburb started at about 10:30am. It was graced by His Highness The Aga Khan, Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda, health minister Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye, Attorney General Freddie Ruhindi, lands minister Daudi Migereko and several dignitaries from the Aga Khan Development Network.
