Lift The Children fundraiser: Author speaks on quantum physics and healing for Surrey-based organization
Author and spirituality advocate Deepak Chopra spoke on quantum physics and healing at a recent gala for Lift The Children. Dalai Lama Humanitarian Award recipient John Volken founded that Surrey-based organization to benefit 72 orphanages in Africa. “The world sometimes feels like an insane asylum,” Chopra wrote. “You can decide whether you want to be an inmate or pick up your visitor’s badge.” He later visited Able Auctions principal Abdul Ladha and wife Hanifa’s West Vancouver home, from which the city-and-harbour view is as peaceful and encouraging as the Ladhas, Chopra, Volken and others doubtless wish for the 2,900 Africans orphaned daily.
