Irfaan Manji is a Canadian Ismaili Muslim composer currently residing in Toronto, Ontario. Irfaan comes from a family of widely-known musicians and ginan reciters, and credits his father Mehboob Manji, and grandfather Nurdin Manji (may his soul rest in eternal peace) as his teachers and inspiration.
‘Footprints’ follows Irfaan’s first volume of ginans ‘Bliss My Soul‘. The theme of Irfaan’s new collection of ginans is the beauty and brevity of life.
