Student Zaid Thanawala winner finals Shell Bachelor Master award
09 March 2015 On Wednesday March 25 Zaid Thanawala, student Sustainable Energy Technology at TU Delft, won the Shell Bachelor Master award for his master theses on efficient solar to hydrogen conversion.
He received the public price as well. Niek van den Top of Wageningen University and Research Centre was awarded for the best bachelor thesis.
Jury chairman Louise Fresco of Wageningen UR: ‘The technology is applicable, relevant and a technological challenge. Zaid Thanawala shows above all strong technological and innovative leadership which we need.’
