Coastweek– As part of ongoing professional development of teachers, Madrasa Early Childhood Programme – Kenya identifies high uptake teachers from the trainings to serve as peer mentors.
The objective is to enhance human resource base for ECD as well as provide platforms for new teachers to learn from their experienced peers.
The training was made possible through collaboration with The Aga Khan Foundation Canada and the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) through the Strengthening Education Systems in East Africa (SESEA).
Madrasa Early Childhood Programme offers teacher training classes for certificate, diploma and specialised courses.
