On May 25, 2015, Jamats across Ontario gathered in their respective Jamatkhanas to celebrate the momentous occasion of the inauguration of the Aga Khan Park. A live telecast of the ceremony was shown. Premier Wynne and Mawlana Hazar Imam unveiled a ceremonial plaque to mark the occasion.
