Lumacare Healthier Living Centre Visits Aga Khan Museum

LumacareOn Thursday, April 23, 2015 Lumacare’s Healthier Living Centre (HLC) visited the Aga Khan Museum of Islamic arts and culture at 77 Wynford Drive, Toronto. The museum, a relatively new and architecturally stunning building, offered attendees the chance to learn about the history and contemporary culture of the Islamic world.

Approximately 40 participants came out to enjoy the day’s event and had a wonderful experience “sampling” the museum’s galleries and viewing the rich collection of exquisite Islamic art and artifacts. The museum featured artwork spanning more than 1000 years of European and Indian history!
