SHARJAH, 29th March, 2015 (WAM) — The Barjeel Art Foundation has announced that it is collaborating with the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto on an exhibition of contemporary art from the collection of Barjeel Art Foundation.
The exhibition will run from July 25th until November 29th, 2015, on the premises of the newly opened Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. The announcement was made by the Director of the Aga Khan Museum, Henry Kim, together with the Founder of Barjeel Art Foundation, Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi, during a talk at Art Dubai.
Barjeel Art Foundation is an independent, United Arab Emirates-based initiative established to manage, preserve and exhibit the personal art collection of Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi. The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto, a museum devoted to the arts of the Islamic world, opened in 2014.
