Synergy: Aga Khan Foundation USA – Boston Marathon Partner Charity for 2015

At the Aga Khan Foundation, we believe everybody has a purpose. Driven by our belief in our shared humanity and dedication to serving communities across the globe, the Foundation is committed to empowerment. With that in mind, we are proud to be a partner charity in the Boston Marathon for the second year in a row. We are less than a month away from the legendary race!

AKFUSA _ Bostom Marathon 2015The Boston Marathon is about more than athleticism. It is about community. It is about hope. It is about coming together and demonstrating resilience. These values are reflected in the work of the Foundation, and they are reflected in our 2015 AKF Run Team. Our runners, all three are nurses, are committed to strengthening marginalized communities. You can support our runners in meeting their goal to raise funds for AKF.

We are thrilled to introduce them to you:

  • Catherine Kabui is our first volunteer runner. She grew up in Kenya and has seen our work. She is inspired to help create solutions for those with the greatest needs. Support her here.
  • Danielle Healy is proud to be associated with AKF and hopes her fundraising efforts will ensure that people receive proper healthcare. Support her here.
  • Jessica Reynolds is passionate about the role women have in building a future for stronger, healthier and well-educated families. She runs to improve their lives. Support her here.

Every stride they take is a step towards ending intolerance and poverty around the world. You can be a part of this. Show your support as they take on the iconic Boston course and donate today.

Your contribution goes towards the work of the Aga Khan Foundation. Help make the 2015 Boston Marathon a victory for our athletes and for the thousands of families across Africa and Asia who need your support to break the cycle of poverty. Your support, through donations and raising awareness, helps improve the quality of life for people all over the world.
