Safira Lakhani is a student at the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture. This program has enabled Safira to work and travel in and around North America and most recently, Europe. In every place, Safira has engaged with the local communities while working towards developing and expanding her knowledge, passion, and skillset in design, sustainable development, and social change. Her research-based design project, Revitalizing Bamyan, was Azure Magazine’s AZ Awards 2014 People’s Choice Winner in the Student Work Category.
