Update: Since this article was written in 2009 there have been two relevant changes: The great-grandson of Rajabali, Rehmtulla’s grandson, was promoted to in 2011 to work as the Director of Issues Managrmement for Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Murad Velshi’s daughter is currently running for Municipal Office in this month’s Toronto Elections. The descendants of Rajabali Velshi Keshavjee definitely have a political vein running in their blood.
