Banting grad and London-raised opera singer Andrew Haji, now of Toronto, has won a major competition in the Netherlands. The awards were announced Sunday (if JBNBlog’s day count is correct)

I’m pleased to share this wonderful news about Andrew Haji (COSI 2014, 2011, 2010). He entered one of the world’s most prestigious singing competitions, the International Vocal Competition IVC ‘s-Hertogenbosch, through the preliminary round we held for the first time ever at COSI this summer. Andrew also shone there as one of our Rodolfos in La Bohème.
