Dr. Jan-e-Alam Khaki is an Associate Professor at the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Pakistan. In his 14 years of service, he has served in many leadership positions, including Coordinator, Advanced Diploma and PhD programmes and as the project lead for ED-LINKS. Dr. Khaki teaches at the PhD, Masters, Advanced Diploma and Certificate levels. He has also served as a master trainer for Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, for the development of higher education institutions. His major contribution to academia include an edited book titled, Educational Leadership in Pakistan: Ideals and Realities (2010), published by Oxford University Press. Dr Khaki’s area of focus in teaching and research is leadership and management.
