Kamil Karamali is currently a Video Journalist and Radio Reporter for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in Ottawa. His job includes pitching story ideas and setting up interviews, while shooting, editing, and voicing his own material for the local evening newscast on CBC. During the television and radio broadcasts, Kamil also frequently delivers live hits on the latest news. Working for CBC has also given Kamil an opportunity to file for the broadcast agency’s national TV channel, CBC News Network and air stories on national programming on CBC Radio 1.
Before joining CBC, Kamil worked as a Video Journalist, TV Anchor, and Radio Reporter for Bell Media (CFTK-TV) in Northwestern British Columbia. He produced his own stories, while also shooting and editing them before slotting them into the TV newscast and then delivering the content for radio news. Kamil anchored CFTK-TV’s weekend show “Week in Review,” on a weekly basis and occasionally anchored the 6 pm newscast on weekdays.
