Journeys are all about embracing the moment and at the same time, thinking about what’s next. It’s about the connecting ‘flights’, detour and mishandled adventure.. the route from Islamabad, crossing through Abbotabad, Kaghan, Naran, all the way up to Gilgit. The photo study plays the same game with the viewers – what’s next! As a photographer to me, what brings spirit to a landscape is the miniature figure of a breathing human. I have studied the moments I photographed; now the study challenges the viewer to be more perceptive, see beyond what they see and develop a sense of wonder in details.
