Walk gently upon the earth, o my soul,
and speak words of beauty and truth,
live simply and well.
Make no grandiose claims,
lest proof is demanded
and you are found wanting.
Be humane, be human,
whilst you still walk upon the earth:
in the end, we all bid the world farewell.
