Who likes purple? Ms. Saira Hirji (Pronounced Her gee) does! Hirji is a new ELA teacher for sixth and seventh grade. She also teaches Study Skills and ELA Intervention.
“[The best thing about teaching is] seeing the students have Aha! Moments and seeing them make progress,” said Hirji.
Hirji attended Santa Monica College, CSU Long Beach, and Loyola Marymount University. Her favorite books are The Hunger Games and Memoirs of a Geisha.
