Akbar Manji received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in finance from Simon Fraser University. He is the CFO of First Canadian Management Group located in Burnaby, BC. His expertise lies in the financial and economic analysis of day to day management of commercial properties in the hospitality industry. He is actively involved in all aspects of management including HR, Policy Development & Implementation, Inventory, Budgeting, Repairs & Maintenance and Marketing. Akbar is also an integral participant in the renovation and upgrades which take place regularly at all the properties after acquisition. In his spare time, Akbar volunteers with various charitable organizations within the community and serves as a board member at his children’s school in the areas of building, property development & construction.
Minaz Rahemtulla

A veteran in the hospitality industry, Minaz Rahemtulla is currently Executive Vice President of Luxury Hotels Group Canada. Primary responsibilities include acquisitions, development and management of existing assets and new ventures with a focus on the Ontario, Canada region.
With over 20 years of experience in the industry Minaz has participated in or acted as a principal in several acquisitions of properties ranging in size from $5mm to $20mm. Areas of expertise include due diligence, structuring, brand selection and negotiation as well as financing and new construction.
Minaz has extensive contacts in the hospitality industry in North America and internationally.
