On Friday, February 7th at 7:30 PM, tenor Andrew Haji made his Canadian Opera Company debut in the role of Ferrando in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. He is performing with a cast of fellow COC Ensemble Studio singers, as well as the full COC orchestra and chorus, lead by the incomparable Johannes Debus.
Andrew Haji, tenor, is a recent graduate of the Master of Music in Opera program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music. In 2011, he graduated from the Bachelor of Music in Performance program, also at the University of Toronto.
In November 2012, Andrew was selected as the second prize winner of the Canadian Opera Company‘s second annual Ensemble Studio Competition. He currently works at the COC as a member of the Ensemble Studio for the 2013–2014 season.
