Omar Mangalji presents at 'Silicon Valley Comes to Oxford'Omar Mangalji is a speaker at the School’s Silicon Valley Comes to Oxford event (SVCO 13) which brings entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley to the School to engage with students, faculty and members of the wider Oxford entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Omar is a Managing Director of Cap-Meridian Ventures LTD. Cap-Meridian Ventures Ltd is a private investment vehicle with a flexible mandate to invest in a broad range of asset classes globally. The goal of the vehicle is to yield returns consistent with venture capital investments, while balancing risk profiles to protect principal capital. CMV is industry and geography agnostic but will specifically seek out investments in innovation with a disciplined approach to find disruptive technologies coupled with superior operations teams. Cap-Meridian has been very active in the last 24 months, investing in early-stage internet technology and other various companies across verticals in the US, Europe, Africa and Brazil.

Previously, Omar was with Goldman Sachs & Co in both the investment banking and principal investing divisions and he holds a BA from Cornell University. Omar is also a member of the Young Leaders Circle of the Milken Institute and has previously mentored at Endeavor Global entrepreneurship events around the world.
