Clements- Global Studies Academy (GSA) students volunteered their time to participate in the “Partnership Walk” held in Sam Houston Park in Houston. The Partnership Walk is a public event aimed at raising awareness and funding to end global poverty. The funds raised by the Walk support innovative, cost-effective projects that improve the quality of life in the poorest areas of Asia and Africa.
This is the third consecutive year that the CHS-GSA has participated in this walk and earned the honor of being the largest volunteer group at the Houston Partnership Walk. The GSA students helped with various activities throughout the day which included Kid Zone, Registration, Trash pick-up & recycling, Silent Auction, and organizing the iRun aimed at younger participants.
