Shyrose Nurmohamed, Richmond Montessori teacher, spent a day in Ottawa receiving an award from Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
Nurmohamed was the Certificate of Excellence in Early Childhood Education recipient for 2013 for her work with the students and teachers at the school.
