Law student Majid Charania discusses exchange program at the University of GenevaTwo of our colleagues in the Common Law passed last fall semester in exchange abroad. Now back to the cold, they share their experiences with Inter Pares . Majid Charania is back in Geneva and Renee Fuchs had the opportunity to spend a session in India. To them the word!

You went in return! Give us the details: where, when, how and why?

Majid  : I went to the University of Geneva in Switzerland during the Fall 2012 and January 2013. The examination period of the University of Geneva takes place in January, so I planned to take a course more during the winter session to catch me. By cons, it allowed me to extend the exchange and enjoy the ski season in the Alps!

I decided to go on exchange to Geneva to take advantage of the presence of international organizations, which allow the University of Geneva to take advantage of the presence of renowned international law and offer, therefore experts a very wide range of courses in international law. The city of Geneva is also very well located in Europe to travel and skiing.

  1. Majid and my son Alykhan were classmates at the Toronto French School from 1987-2002 and both became lawyers. Good memories. Majid now does International Law, my son works for the Prime Minister of Canada in the PMO.
