CHITRAL: Chitral has been selected as the model district for development by the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) for which it has allocated one billion rupees in its initial stage to be spent on different development sectors in the selected union councils.
In the meeting held here with deputy commissioner Chitral Muhammad Shoaib Jadoon, the representatives of PPAF, Masood Khalid, Rana Sarwar, Inayatullah Niazi, it was informed that a forum of development partners named District Development Forum will be established.
It was said that under the supervision of the district administration, the forum included Sarhad Rural Support Program, Aga Khan Rural Support Program and other organizations working in the development sector.
