Dhaka, Bangladesh, 17 September 2013 — Concluding a two-day visit to Bangladesh, Mawlana Hazar Imam departed from Dhaka this afternoon. The Honourable Foreign Minister, Dr Dipu Moni, and Mohammad Ziauddin, Ambassador at Large from the Prime Minister’s Office, bid Hazar Imam farewell on behalf of the Government.
Before leaving, Mawlana Hazar Imam met with the Jamat of Bangladesh at the Ismaili Jamatkhana and Centre, Dhaka. At the Centre, Rai Sulaiman Ajanee, President of the Ismaili Council for Bangladesh, presented Hazar Imam with a gift on behalf of the Jamati institutions.
Mawlana Hazar Imam travels on to India for a two-week visit.
