The International Confederation of the Midwives (ICM) 3rd African Regional Conference which was sponsored by Johnson and Johnson honored the Best Maternity Department in the Private Sector within the region.
The Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa (AKHM) received the Regional Winner-Coast Region award and emerged No.2 in the private sector countrywide after the Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi.
