Taj Mitha elected British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Board of Governors chair

Taj Mitha elected British Columbia Institute of Technology's Board of Governors chairBCIT would like to welcome Mr. Taj Mitha as the newly elected chair of the BCIT Board of Governors.

Mr. Mitha has served on the Board of Governors since 2008 and brings a wealth of knowledge of BCIT and great depth of international, legal, and diplomatic experience. Mr. Mitha practiced law in Uganda, the United Kingdom, and here in Vancouver. He has worked in international development with the Secretariat of His Highness the Aga Khan and the Aga Khan Development Network in Canada, the United States, and in France.

Mr. Mitha takes over from Tony Gugliotta, outgoing Board chair and senior vice president, marketing and business development at YVR. Mr. Gugliotta has served on the BCIT Board since 2007. Tony has been a great supporter of BCIT and we extend our sincere gratitude for Mr. Gugliotta’s tireless contributions and efforts on behalf of BCIT.
