Mountaineer Samina Baig, the first Pakistani woman to scale Mount Everest, returned home to Islamabad on Monday.
She landed at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, where she was given a rousing reception by supporters.
The 22-year-old, from the small town of Shimshal in the Hunza valley, scaled the 8,848 metre peak early on May 19 after a gruelling expedition in rough weather.
