Anar Popatia has served on numerous boards in the health and education sectors, community and government. Most important to her is the ability to inspire our youth to be the best that they can be and reach out to those who are less fortunate. Recently, she assisted and advised her daughter in setting up the Warming Hearts Foundation funded via the Vancouver Foundation to support local and global causes — homelessness, alleviation of poverty, youth leadership development and anti-bullying. Her belief is that we Canadians should also be responsible global citizens.
