Alyssa Jaffer – Investigative Reporting Program

Alyssa Jaffer is the event coordinator for this year’s symposium. She graduated from UC Berkeley in Media Studies last fall and has been working with the Investigative Reporting Program for three years and currently interns at the Center for Investigative Reporting. Jaffer has worked on the editorial staff at San Francisco Magazine. In addition to the magazine’s print issue, her writing has also been featured on SanFranMag.com, SF Weekly, East Bay Express, Berkeley Patch, Ismaili USA Magazine and Portland Monthly Magazine.
