Illuminated 19th century copy of the Qur’an from KashmirThis copy of the Holy Qur’an is a fine example of nineteenth century Kashmir manuscript production with strong calligraphy and intricate illumination. With three illuminated double pages, this manuscript is written in an elegant naskhi hand, with a marginal translation and commentary in Persian.
