Hafiza Parbatani: Brain injury survivor works with kids who have special needsHafiza Parbatani identifies with the children she works with as a special education assistant, particularly those with memory or concentration challenges.

She faced the same challenges following a brain aneurysm 12 years ago, when she was 13, and found therapy as well as understanding and encouragement through the BC Centre for Ability’s Community Brain Injury Program for Children and Youth.
