FREMONT — A walkathon benefiting an international nonprofit and featuring food, music and cultural performances is scheduled Sunday at Central Park.
The Partnership Walk is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Lake Elizabeth at the park. All proceeds will go to the Aga Khan Foundation, an international nonprofit that aims to reduce poverty and illiteracy in Asia and Africa, event spokeswoman Sarah Lalani said.
