Local volunteers for a national foundation are organizing a walk on Saturday, Oct. 6 at HemisFair Park to raise awareness about poverty in Asia and Africa.
The Partnership Walk is an effort of the Washington, D.C.-based Aga Khan Foundation, which has planned 10 walks nationwide this year.
This will be the foundation’s first walk in San Antonio.
