It is a matter of great pleasure that the Aga Khan Social Welfare Board has taken this great step of arranging mass marriages particularly in rural and mountainous areas of Pakistan. Marriages, of course are becoming difficult day by day especially in this price hike and economic down town in Pakistan. That’s why lots of people even educated boys and girl are becoming over age due to difficulties in arranging a life partner and sky rocketing prices in our country to bear massive marriage expenses.
We appreciate the efforts of the organization for taking this initiative in mitigating economical and social problems of the communities. I wish if this is followed by other communities in Pakistan. Along with this national and religious responsibility it is important to create awareness among the new couples about family planning in order to avoid dire consequences of the increasing population one of the main causes of economic instability of Pakistan.
