Amin is an Ismaili Muslim by faith. His wife, Safarbegum is of Central Asian origin from the Pamir. The couple have two young daughters; three and four. Amin grew up in a cultural milieu where values and beliefs formed in a plural setting. His life was dominated by values and beliefs which often affected personal sensibilities which allowed him like others around him to form a personal identity. This is why Amin constantly seeks to understand the blessings of life through his poems and to be able to enrich all. Through his work, Mechanics, Ethics and Politics of the Spirit: The Hidden Seeds, Amin identifies how his values were formed through trials for personal and spiritual search. Life is a gift through which we have to make choices against the darkness of the periods and walk out of the fires with scathes that may run through our lives as memories. Through the politics of such choice-making, we sculpt our identities and form the mechanics of the ark of our subtle lives. – Source: Publish America and Amazon.
