A health awareness seminar on recent advances in treatment of osteoarthritis was recently organised by the Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi’s Representative Office at Ismaili Centre, Dubai.
Speaking on osteoarthritis, Dr Pervaiz Hashmi, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, AKUH, said that arthritis is a chronic disease which can last for a life time. It is a serious disease that affects the joint movements.
