“Faizaan is a great student and a great asset to our scientific explorations. He has done excellent in Cultural Studies and has strong math skills and is a strong reader”, commented his class teacher, Mr. Rusty Folsom.
Faizaan joined QSI International School of Bishkek in 2010 and has successfully completed 7 year old program (grade 2). He continued to perform very well in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities throughout the academic year.
QSI International School of Bishkek organized annual award ceremony 2011-12 on 15 June 2011. Faizaan Somani received the following eleven awards during the academic year 2011-12:
· National Physical Fitness Award signed by the President of the United States;
· Successful completion of the 7 year old program (he received 57 As out of total 61 modules);
· Improvement in the use of the French language;
· Improvement in Writing;
· Second highest points in World Maths Day 2012 throughout QSIB across all age groups and highest points in his age group;
· Highest points in World Science Day 2012 throughout QSIB across all age groups;
· Highest points in World Spelling Day 2912 throughout QSIB across all age groups;
· Second position in Spelling Bee 2012 (6-8 years age group) organized by QSIB;
· Participation Award in the Annual Science Fair organized by QSIB;
· Participation Award for Writing Challenge organized by QSIB; and
· Perfect Attendance Award (only 4 students in the entire school got this award).
