Diversity Something Glenview Can Take Pride In

I brag sometimes to friends about the remarkable accomplishments of Glenview students, to which some reply, “Yes, but there’s no diversity out there.”

Recent U.S. Census data and conversations with some of Glenview’s top school officials say those friends are very wrong in their assumptions.

It was at NEIU that I learned of the Muslim holiday Eid allowing me to better report on Eid celebrations of the Ismaili community who have a house of worship in Glenview near Shermer and Golf roads.

Students coming from Glenview’s diverse environment will be in a better position to be leaders of a global society.
