Nafisa is a Ph.D. Candidate at the McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Her research focuses on the fields of Medical Genetics and Neuroscience. She currently holds a Frederick Banting and Charles Best Scholarship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Nafisa began with JYI as an associate editor in 2004 then moved on to a Research Editor postion and finally served as a Senior Research editor from 2006 to 2008. Nafisa began research in 2002 and hasn’t left yet!
