Amsal Dhuka found safe in Fort Bend County | a Chron.com blog

Amsal Dhuka was found about 6 a.m. Tuesday at the Ismaili Center on Corporate near Dairy Ashford in the Sugar Land area soon after authorities released the name of woman who they consider a person of interest in the boy’s disappearance, said Bob Haenel, spokesman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.

Haenel said the people who were at the church spotted the boy and called authorities. They didn’t know how the boy arrived at the church and didn’t notice anyone with him or if he had been dropped off by someone in a car.

Officials are looking for 34-year-old Kismat Momin. Haenel said Momin was seen with the Amsal about 3:30 p.m. after he got off the bus. It is unclear if she is connected to the boy’s family. She may live in the Sugar land area.
