Karakuram Area Development Organization (KADO) establishes Sewing Centre at IDPs camp

Hunza—Karakuram Area Development Organization (KADO), an indigenous development initiative of Gilgit-Baltistan, has established sewing centre at a camp of IDPs in central Hunza which will enable women to improve their livelihood. The Centre was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Hunza -Nagar, Burhan u din Afandi. President of Ismaili Regional Council Dr. Khawaja Khan was also present there. The centre will provide training to 15 women for three months, enabling them to improve their livelihood.

Speaking at the occasion, the DC said that the government will ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to the sewing centre and the IDPs camp.
