Our second installment of our four-part series interviewing each of the co-founders of the DineWithMe mobile app features Salima Hirji, a third year Sociology student at the University of British Columbia. Her passions include painting, photography, creative writing and, of course, entrepreneurship. She first recognized her love for entrepreneurship during the Junior Achievement Company Program in which she was President of the company Smile. The company went on to win the title of North American Company of the Year. Salima continued to pursue her passion of entrepreneurship by joining Impact as the Marketing Director for Microcredit in 2010. Last year, Salima was a Happiness Ambassador for Coca Cola during the 2010 Winter Olympics and she “Opened Happiness” any chance she got!
